Maya – Design Lead

Maya has been with us since the early days. With a background in fine arts and a keen eye for detail, she helps customers turn vague ideas into clear designs. “The best part of my job,” Maya says, “is seeing a customer’s face light up when they see their personal story turned into something beautiful they can wear.”

James – Master Engraver

James learned engraving from his grandfather, who crafted jewelry for over 50 years. His steady hands and patient approach ensure that even the most intricate designs are executed perfectly. “Each piece has its own personality,” James explains. “My job is to listen to what the material wants and work with it, not against it.”

Sophia – Quality Specialist

Before any product ships to you, it passes through Sophia’s careful inspection. With an almost supernatural ability to spot even the tiniest flaws, she ensures that only perfect pieces leave our workshop. “I treat each item as if it were going to my own mother,” Sophia says. “If it’s not good enough for her, it’s not good enough for our customers.”

A Day in Our Workshop

Our day starts early in our bright Laguna Beach studio. With coffee in hand, the team reviews the day’s orders, discussing any special requests or challenging designs.

Each piece is prepped carefully before engraving begins. Our artisans take their time, never rushing the process. Even a simple design requires proper setup, steady hands, and careful attention. Complex custom works might take several hours to complete.

After engraving, each piece is cleaned, polished, and inspected before being carefully packaged for shipment. We include a signed card from the artisan who worked on your piece – because we’re proud of our work and want you to know who made it.

Our team never stops learning. Whether it’s testing new techniques or studying historic engraving styles, we’re always looking for ways to improve our craft. Many weekends, you’ll find our artisans at workshops or trade shows, expanding their skills and bringing fresh ideas back to Rivenaco.
